2) STEM Carnival 05/15/2015 2:30-5:00pm
"Nextbook" to be raffled off - kids complete 8 of the 11 challenges and their name will go
in for the raffle.

4) 8th Grade gift -
Tee Shirt Design contest submissions by 05/20/2015 will be voted on by students 05/21/2015
Mrs. Tucker will pick top 3-4
The design will be on the front with every 8th grade student's name on the back

5) 8th Grade activities -

Field Days - one indoor, one outdoor, PTA to purchase water, DJ

6) Nichols Tee Shirt sale for 5th graders

7) ***T-Shirt idea for all grades - borrowing from the High School's "Start Strong"
idea.  6th, 7th and 8th grade will have their own color and wording - hope to unveil this
Fall!

8) Middleboro will be launching our own "Little Free Library".  Other towns have already
had much success with this wonderful program.It is an awesome way to bring easy (easier) access to  books - especially if you're not close to the library. Each "book box" will hold 20 or so books and
be placed all around the town (we're looking for ideas of where to put them too).
We are looking for donations to build these mini libraries ( on the idea of a large mail box), and
books to fill them.  It cost $100.00 to build and we already have some boxes being built.
This is a great way to bring books to kids (and adults), and to show appreciation to someone
special i.e. retired teacher, grandparent, etc. by donating in their name a plaque will be made
and placed on the book box.

To get the ball rolling the PTA voted and approved the donation of $200.00 - $100.00 for
the building of the book box and $100.00 for the books. (donations of gently used books
or more than welcome).

9) PMC Kids Rides

There will be entertainment, bouncy houses, the Minions from Despicable Me, face painting and WROR Street Team and more.
Looking for riders age 3-16 (they will be separated into groups) and VOLUNTEERS.
