VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
***looking for students to  help - 1 hour after school to set up, etc.

5) Eighth grade events and activities
- T-shirt design contest - winning design will be printed on front of T-shirt
and names of all the eighth grade students on back
- field day and Whale Watch - dates to be announced later with more details
- 2 field days - indoor and outdoor
***looking for ideas for enrichment/inspirational speakers - they must
be able to commit to 2 presentations as size of auditorium doesn't
hold the entire eighth grade

6) Mr. Geoghegan
- MCAS - kids are working very hard - we've come a long way over
the past 3 years
-parent/teacher conferences will be Student Lead Conferences
-last year the sixth graders were the first  students to participate in the S.L.C.
(it was a great success with 98% parent attendance)
-this year all grades will be participating in the S.L.C. are very excited about it
and are hoping for the same results!
