1) Frank Coutinho, Teacher's Union President
Mr. Coutinho is looking for feedback from parents.
He would like to ensure that there is communication between parents and teachers
and would like to see an increase in teacher involvement in the PTA.

2) Melanie Gates, Ph.D STEM Director
- questions were answered re: gmail, google accounts for 6th grade
- students should receive password information after 2 cycles of the students schedule
- as of right now only 1 cycle has been completed
- if by the end of the first week in October your child has not received their password
information please contact Melanie Gates.
- these google accounts are for the students - if information involving parents will
be sent directly to parents
-re: Digits math program - if students are having difficulty logging  in , again, please
contact Melanie Gates - in the future we hope to have a tutorial on Digits on the
schools facebook page
3) New Business
- Spirit Wear sales - should be submitted by 09/18 - Patty Delaney
new items - long sleeve, short sleeve, and hoodies
- Yankee Candle Fundraiser - 10/23- 11/09
- Fall Frenzy - Friday, 10/30 2:30-5:00 $5.00
school turns in to an indoor playground, i.e.gym - dodge ball, cafeteria - dj, pizza,
board games, candy bar walk (cake walk)

*School council meets 4th Wednesday of the month at 3:00pm -
be a part of the academic decision making process
