1) Treasurer's Report
last meeting - $16,622
income - 485 (Spirit Wear, PTA membership)
expenses - 913 (camera/photobooth)
TOTAL - $16,194 ($10,000 promised to Nichols School)
2) Fall Frenzy Friday 10/17/2014 2:30-5pm
permission slips/tickets to be sold at lunch
volunteers needed
- DJ refreshments, games and activities, i.e. dodge ball
***looking for someone who has time and equipment to take and print
pictures -PTA will pay for time and materials
3) Magazine Drive
*volunteer needed 1-2 hours in am on collection day 10/17/2014
to count $$
4) Parent/Teacher Conferences
Thursday 10/30 6-8:30pm
Wednesday 11/5 4-6:30pm
*volunteers needed
- to donate and sell raffle tickets, baked goods, spirit wear and yearbooks
5) Fall Scholastic Book Fair 1029-11/05
*am volunteers needed during DIAL on 10/29, 10/30 and 11/3
Fair also open during Parent/Teacher Conferences
-ideas to promote Book Fair - Raffle - winner to pick Mr. McLauglin's
fate, i.e. funny hats, wig, chicken dance, etc.
6)Box Tops for Education and recycling initiatives
- art club to make posters, cluster vs. cluster, winners enjoy kickball game
with Mr. McLaughlin
- we are still collecting empty ink jet cartridges and cell phones
7) Mr. Geoghegan's Update
- Patent/Teacher Conferences are trending to be
Student Lead Conferences, enabling students to be leaders of their own learning
-if there is a need to set up teacher conference, please do not hesitate to do so,
i.e. email/call, etc.

MCAS results mailed home last Friday
