2) 8TH GRADE CELEBRATIONS
- looking to put together an "event bulletin" for the 8th graders to help keep track of
upcoming activities
-PTA sponsors 8th grade Field Day: lunch (through the school), music, activities i.e. in the
past "Olympic" events with each homeroom representing a country, etc.
PTA also sponsors 1/2 day "indoor day", i.e. obstacle course in gym, music (no food on this day)
(usually last 3 days of school)
-Friday, June 13, 2014 8th grade Social - run by student council (no parents)
- graduation will be 2 nights due to number of students
- 8th grade gift to students T-shirt with every child's name on it with Nichol's logo and
"Keep Calm and ROAR On"

3) PLAY SCHEDULE
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - not a musical - separate from music class
Saturday, June 14 & Sunday, June 15
water and chocolate roses will be sold

4) SPRING CONCERT SCHEDULE - spirit wear available for purchase (no water/snacks, etc.)
May 28, 2014 Chorus & Orchestra
June   4, 2014 Band

5) STEVE GERETY - STUDENT BODY PRESENTATION
- presentation "You, Your Dreams, and Visions"

6) TEACHER APPRECIATION LUNCHEON 05/09/2014 10:00AM-1:00PM
- platters from Shaws, baked goods, etc.
